Moving to Central Oregon was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. From the time we arrived in Bend people went out of their way to welcome us and our children into the community. Coming from a mid-sized farming community to an outdoor recreation paradise benefited our family in many ways; from our son fly fishing in the rivers and lakes almost daily, our oldest daughter attending Oregon State University, and our youngest who is pursuing her passion of gymnastics, the transition was seamless. I have always loved the outdoors and I am thrilled to have the ability to be at Mt. Bachelor in less than 30 minutes, walk to the river trail from my house to go for a run, or sit outside enjoying a fabulous meal with my husband at one of Bend’s many great restaurants.
